Who We Are

Meet Our Team

I hate formal sounding bio pages where the author is talked about in third person—so instead of having you read something that sounds bland and impersonal, I’d rather you get a feel for what I’m truly like, so here goes.

I love words. Spoken, unspoken, written, recited, or sung. I love the way words can change, challenge, and heal us. Mostly, I love God’s words…the Bible. His words have healed me, changed me, and sustained me. I think that’s why it’s my favorite thing to talk about. To me there’s nothing more exciting than finding something new about God I can brag on.

I love my family. My husband Bobby and I have been married for over thirty years, and my stomach still tingles when I know he’s coming home from a road trip. When you’ve been in love with someone that long you’ve lived through your share of bruises, but at the end of the day he’s the one I want to hold and huddle with. We have three fantastic kids and two insanely cute grand-babies. Each day I thank God for entrusting me with such gifts.

I adore baseball. Bobby and I have traipsed this country over 47 times moving from state to state with major league baseball as a player, coach and manager. There’s nothing like the sound of fireworks after a home-run, or the feel of gathering together with other baseball wives as we study God’s word and pray for our team.

I thrive on teaching and speaking to groups of God seekers. In any setting, these are my people. Nothing energizes me more than the look in the eyes of those who want to grow spiritually.

I call myself shabby chic because although I’m a bit banged up, I can look pretty cool if you see me from a distance. Don’t expect perfection—just an honest, authentic love for God and His people. That’s me!

Avid ice cream eater? | Absolutely!

Italian born & bred? | Si.

Coffee lover? | Some say it’s an addiction, I say it’s a lifestyle.

That’s me in a nutshell! I was born and raised on the island of Capri in Italy, although you probably couldn’t tell from the Texan accent that I can’t get rid of now.

I spent most of my life traveling between Italy and South Africa until my family moved to Houston, Texas, in 2010. I have a Bachelors in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and an Executive Masters in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University (Go Fire!). Basically what that means is I’m a BIG nerd!

I love my life here in Houston and am extremely passionate about loving God and loving people. It’s my life joy to get to lead women through Gutsy Faith and my college ministry. I often speak at high schools and colleges, where I get to share how I learned to find my true identity in Christ.

Despite losing my dad to cancer and experiencing much loss in my life, God has turned my pain into purpose and I truly believe that regardless of where you’ve been, what you’ve done or what’s been done to you, that can be your story too!

Dance floor or design studio? | Why not both.

Frequent flyer to Africa? | Always—my heart is there.

Book lover? | A billion wouldn’t be enough.

That’s me in a nutshell! I’m a Colorado native now living in Houston with my two kids, and life has taken me on quite the journey.

My background spans decades in sales, marketing, and the entertainment industry—working as a dancer, actor, model, and host across TV, film, and commercial. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredible companies and artists along the way, including touring with multi-platinum artist Rihanna, dancing with the Los Angeles Laker Girls, and now working alongside HGTV Designer of the Year at Urbanology Designs.

In addition to my professional work, I’m deeply connected to The Vine Uganda, a nonprofit founded by my mom, Gari Meacham. I travel to Africa often to spend time with my Ugandan family, and that part of my life has shaped me in more ways than I can count.

I love the life I’ve built here in Houston, but above all else, I’m most passionate about Jesus and being a canvas for His light.

It’s my greatest desire to live a life that reflects Him—to love people well, to walk in purpose, and to point others back to the truth that they are deeply loved by God.
