What We Are All About

At Gutsy Faith, we have relatable and real conversations about the things we all face at every stage of life. We are passionate about providing practical, Bible-based solutions because we believe that as you go deeper in your faith, you will live braver in your everyday life.

Through a collection of podcasts, videos, gatherings, and Bible studies, we are committed to walking alongside you on this journey of faith. You don’t have to go at it alone - that is what we are here for! We like to think of ourselves as your faith coaches, encouraging and challenging you to new levels of hope and healing.

Regardless of what season of life you may be in, we believe that you can walk in faith, freedom, and fulfillment every day of your life. Remember, we are better together!

Much Love,

I hate formal sounding bio pages where the author is talked about in third person—so instead of having you read something that sounds bland and impersonal, I’d rather you get a feel for what I’m truly like, so here goes.

I love words. Spoken, unspoken, written, recited, or sung. I love the way words can change, challenge, and heal us. Mostly, I love God’s words…the Bible. His words have healed me, changed me, and sustained me. I think that’s why it’s my favorite thing to talk about. To me there’s nothing more exciting than finding something new about God I can brag on.

I love my family. My husband Bobby and I have been married for over thirty years, and my stomach still tingles when I know he’s coming home from a road trip. When you’ve been in love with someone that long you’ve lived through your share of bruises, but at the end of the day he’s the one I want to hold and huddle with. We have three fantastic kids and two insanely cute grand-babies. Each day I thank God for entrusting me with such gifts.

I adore baseball. Bobby and I have traipsed this country over 47 times moving from state to state with major league baseball as a player, coach and manager. There’s nothing like the sound of fireworks after a home-run, or the feel of gathering together with other baseball wives as we study God’s word and pray for our team.

I thrive on teaching and speaking to groups of God seekers. In any setting, these are my people. Nothing energizes me more than the look in the eyes of those who want to grow spiritually.

I call myself shabby chic because although I’m a bit banged up, I can look pretty cool if you see me from a distance. Don’t expect perfection—just an honest, authentic love for God and His people. That’s me!

Avid ice cream eater? | Absolutely!

Italian born & bred? | Si.

Coffee lover? | Some say it’s an addiction, I say it’s a lifestyle.

That’s me in a nutshell! I was born and raised on the island of Capri in Italy, although you probably couldn’t tell from the Texan accent that I can’t get rid of now.

I spent most of my life traveling between Italy and South Africa until my mom and I moved to Houston, Texas, in 2010. I have a Bachelors in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and am currently earning an Executive Masters in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University (Go Fire!).

I love my life here in Houston and am extremely passionate about loving God and loving people.

It’s my greatest desire to help people experience the fullness of what God has for them and live out an Ephesians 4:20 life. God never promised things would be easy in this life. In fact, He gave us a heads up they would be hard (John 10:10), but He also promised that He would never leave us and I can wholeheartedly say, that has been my story. God has turned my pain into purpose and I truly believe that regardless of where you’ve been, what you’ve done or what’s been done to you, the best is still yet to come!
